WHAT IS THE PURPOSE OF HOME GROUPS?

 

Our Directive:  To be transformed into Jesus Christ’s likeness, to reveal His glory and to show His power.  (I Cor. 3:18; 4:7a) 
 
Our Design:  To provide the most valuable environment for all people to together discover God’s Word, build committed relationships, offer means of support, and provide ways to serve others in God’s love. (Acts 2:42) 
 
Our Dedication:  To support, equip, train, and care for the small group leaders so that they may grow in spiritual maturity in Christ, develop healthy groups, and remain faithful to their calling as leaders.  (Eph 4:11-12; Hebrews 13:7)  
 
Our Delight:  To joyfully and prayerfully share in the work of the whole church as part of the larger Body of Christ.  (I Cor. 12:27)
